In pasture, on a break in a N-facing hill slope. The monument, which is depicted on the 1923 OS 6-inch map as an oval mound (c. 10m N-S; c. 15 E-W), has been levelled. There is now no evident trace of the mound. A field boundary which ran immediately to its S has been removed.

This remains an important historical record, but the official description says the monument is no longer visible or has been destroyed.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
