What is recorded here

In pasture, on low-lying gently undulating terrain. Roughly circular area (31m N-S; 30m E-W) enclosed by two concentric earthen banks with an intervening fosse (Wth 1.65m). Inner bank (int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.6m) is best preserved ENE->SW but has been removed NNW->ENE. Outer bank (int. H 0.9m; ext. H 0.7m) best preserved along W arc, but lowers at SSW (ext. H 0.35m). Dry-stone field wall abuts external bank at WNW; similar wall run tangentially along outside of external bank E->SE, where it converges with another wall butting outer bank at SE.
