In marshy pasture, near base of gentle SE-facing slope. Oval area (52m N-S; 72m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank with external fosse (D 0.2m; Wth 2m). Bank (int. H 0.8m ext. H 0.75m) best preserved W->N. Dip in bank (Wth 2.4m) at SE; cattle breaks at SSE (Wth 1.5m) and WSW (Wth 2.9m). Waterlogged fosse best preserved NE->E, is fed by leat from stream at SE. Slight trace of counterscarp bank along SE arc (H 0.25m). Interior under pasture; sub-rectangular area (15m N-S; 14m E-W) against internal bank face at E enclosed by slightly curved earthen bank (H 0.4m). W half of interior higher than remainder with low earth-and-stone bank (H 0.3m) on a rough N-S axis separating level difference.
