In pasture, on gentle S-facing slope. Roughly circular area (26.8m N-S; 29.9m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank with external fosse (D 1m; W 3.1m). Bank (int. H 0.65m; ext. H 2m) is best preserved W->N, but worn down by cattle at S. Fosse is widest and flat-bottomed along N arc. A field boundary skirts along outer edge of fosse SSW->NE, so that enclosure occupies NE corner of field. Bank lowers at ESE for c. 2.15m where matched by causeway across fosse. Interior, covered with nettles, slopes down gently to S.
