In pasture, on gentle W-facing slope into river valley. Roughly circular area (diam. 27m) enclosed by two concentric banks with intervening fosse (Wth 3.2m), and external fosse (Wth 1.4m; D 0.3m) SE->NNW. Inner earth-and-stone bank (int. H 0.65m; ext. H 1.5m) is covered by dense overgrowth. Outer earthen bank (int. H 0.45m; ext. H 1.25), best preserved at W, is truncated by field wall NNE->SE. External fosse, littered with loose stone, widens at W (Wth 3.2m). Interior, heavily masked by vegetation overgrowth, slopes down towards centre. An earth-and-stone bank (H 0.6m) branches off from inner bank at SE and curls in towards centre for c. 13.5m before fading out. Entire site is surrounded by field boundary and most of the contained area is covered by overgrowth.
