In pasture, on NNE-facing slope below brow of low hill, in area of outcropping limestone. Oval area (26.4m N-S; 23.4m E-W) enclosed by two concentric earth-and-stone banks with intervening fosse (Wth 1.8m) E->NNW, but enclosing element is levelled NNW->E and outer bank further removed E->S. Inner bank (int. H 1m; ext. H 1.3m) is masked by dense overgrowth. Outer bank (int. H 0.95m; ext. H 0.4m) appears to merges with inner bank at S. Fosse, best preserved along SW arc, is accentuated by band of nettles where outer bank removed E->S. Level interior, under rough pasture, has exposed limestone bedrock at N verge.
