In pasture, on gentle ENE-facing slope immediately below brow of low ridge. Oval area (30.5m N-S; 34m E-W) enclosed by two concentric earthen banks with intervening fosse. Outer bank (int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.4m) overlain or replaced by field boundary NNE->SE. Inner bank (int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.75m) becomes scarp-like NE->SE (H 1m; Wth 5.1m) compensating for natural fall away in ground. Fosse (Wth 3.5m), best preserved SE->N, has stand of nettles growing in it. Break (Wth 5m) in outer bank at SSW opens into shallow linear depression which extends c. 32m to S before fading out. Level interior under pasture.
