In low-lying pasture, on gentle N-facing slope, on S verge of large marsh. Roughly oval area (60m N-S; 72.2m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank with external fosse (D 0.9m; Wth 3.3m). Bank (int. H 0.9m; ext. H 1.25m) best preserved NE->SSW, becomes low and flat-topped (Wth 1.05m) W->N, and eroded to scarped edge (H 0.7m; Wth 3.15m) SSW->W and NW->NE. Fosse, best preserved at ENE, is partially obscured along S arc by proximity of field boundary. Causeway (Wth 7m) across fosse at SW matched by slight dip in scarp. Interior, under pasture, slopes down to N except S third which is level.
