In pasture, on E-facing slope. Circular area (53.1m N-S; 54.4m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank with external fosse (Wth 4.9m; D 1.1m). Bank (int. H 0.7m; ext. H 4.3m), covered with briars, becomes scarp-like NNW->N (int. H 0.3m). Rough break in bank (Wth 4.2m) at E. Fosse is waterlogged along N arc, narrows along S arc (Wth 3.5m), and has rubbish dumped into it where deepest at W. Counterscarp earthen bank (H 0.35m) runs along outer edge of fosse NNW->NE and ENE->E. Interior, under pasture, slopes down gently to E. Field boundaries abut enclosure at ESE and SSW.
