In pasture, on E-facing slope. Roughly circular area (35.8m N-S; 33m E-W) enclosed by an inner earthen bank, an outer earth-and-stone bank and an intervening fosse (W 2.5m). Inner bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.85m), best preserved SW->NW, has been much denuded by cattle at ENE. Outer bank (int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.35m) and fosse (D 0.25m) are evident only where there is a fall into site from higher ground SW->N. Loose stones from eroded outer bank litter base of fosse. Boulder at external base of bank at E dumped here during field clearance. Interior, under rough pasture, slopes down gently to E.
