In pasture, on NE-facing hill slope. Monument, depicted on 1841 OS 6-inch map as embanked circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m), has been levelled on E side of N-S field boundary which dissects the site. On W side of field boundary is D-shaped area (16.5m N-S; 8.4m E-W) enclosed by earth-and-stone bank (int. H 0.95m; ext. H 0.35m) SSE->N, and by dry-stone field wall (Wth 2m) along E side. No visible surface trace of enclosure beyond field boundary to E. Interior, covered with briars, is accessed through gate in field boundary at NE; it is noticeably lower than level of surrounding terrain (by c. 0.6m).
