In pasture, on E-facing slope, in area of outcropping limestone. Circular area (19.2m N-S; 20.6m E-W) enclosed by two concentric earthen banks with intervening fosse (Wth 2m). Inner bank (int. H 0.65m; ext. H 0.5m), best preserved at ESE (ext. H 1.3m), has lime kiln (LI019-03702-) built against outer face at NE. Outer bank (ext. H 0.25m), best preserved NW->NNE, has been levelled E->SW. Fosse (D 0.5m) has been widened and deepened at NE to accommodate kiln. A dry-stone field wall runs tangentially to inner bank at S. Interior, under pasture, rises up gently towards centre.
