In undulating pasture; site occupies W half of low E-W ridge. Roughly oval area (14m N-S; 19.5m E-W) enclosed by flat-topped earthen bank (int. H 1.5m; ext. H 0.75m) which runs along top edge of ridge to N, S & W. Bank densely overgrown with trees and bushes. Field boundary runs along base of bank/edge-of-ridge to W and N. Interior slopes down towards centre which is lower than surface of ridge. At centre is roughly oval mound (4.5m E-W; 4m N-S) atop which grows a single tree. No entrance noted, nor any grave marker. Westropp (1904-5, 399) describes site as 'a kyle and a burial-ground', but OSL (vol. 2, 12) lists only 'a grave yard'.
