In undulating pasture, on gentle N-facing slope. Monument, depicted on 1923 OS 6-inch map as circular enclosure truncated on W side by field boundary, has been levelled and field boundary removed. However, site now evident as sub-circular area (22.8m N-S; 24m E-W) enclosed by low rise (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.2m; Wth 2m). Faint trace of external fosse (D 0.1m; Wth 2.5m) NW->SW and counterscarp bank (H 0.1m; Wth 1.5m) SE->S. Entire site under posture.
