In marshy area of rough-grazing. Circular area (32m NW-SE) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.7m) with external fosse (Wth 2.3m), and external bank SE->SW (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.4m). Inner bank grades into scarped edge SW->N (H 2m; Wth 5m). External bank is replaced/overlain by field boundary SW->SE. E half of interior is under marshy rough pasture, whilst W half is covered by dense overgrowth.
