In rough pasture, on N-facing brow of E-W ridge; land immediately to S recently planted with coniferous trees. Monument, depicted as circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on 1923 OS 6-inch map, has been levelled. According to local information enclosing element was dry-stone built and was levelled c. 1970 during land reclamation. Area now strewn with loose stones and dumps of field-clearance material. Short arc of dumped material (roughly in position of NW arch of enclosure) may include or overlie original enclosing walling.
