In undulating pasture, on summit of low hillock, c. 150m from S shore of Shannon estuary. Circular area (28m N-S; 28.5m E-W) defined by scarped edge (H 2.9m; Wth 10m). Scarped edge less pronounced on N side where lower end truncated by field boundary. Site utilised sides of hillock to enhance its own edge. Interior level except for raised circular area in NW quadrant defined by scarped edge (H 0.4m); edge of latter overlies edge of enclosure W->N.
