Situated in poorly drained pasture, with good views in all directions. Identified from aerial photography (Bruff Survey: Map 15, no 33; 4/3726) as an enclosure. The monument consists of a sub-oval area (20m N-S; 17m E-W) defined by a scarped edge (Wth 3.2m; H 0.5m) with two external earthen banks with intervening fosses. The internal bank (int. H 0.2m; Wth 3m; ext. H 0.15m) and internal fosse (Wth 1m) are both evident from ESE to NW. The external bank (int. H 0.3m; Wth 2.3m; ext. H 0.2m) and fosse (Wth 1.6m) are both evident from ESE to W. The interior is uneven and slopes gently down to NE and W.
