What is recorded here

Situated in poorly drained pasture on the W bank of the Mulkear River at the base of a gentle slope down to the E, with good views to N, S and E. Another ringfort (LI015-011----) is visible across the river to ESE. The monument is partially obscured by scrub vegetation. It is evident as a roughly circular area (30m E-W) defined by a scarped edge (Wth 1.5m; H 1.3m) with an external fosse (Wth 2.5m) and a counter-scarp bank (int. H 0.4m; Wth 4.4m; ext. h 0.2m). Outside the latter is another fosse (Wth 1.6m) and an external bank (int. H 0.4m; Wth 2.6m; ext. H 0.3m). A (Wth 9.7m) crosses the interior fosse at SW. The interior slopes down to SE.
