Situated on a S-facing slope in gently undulating, poorly-drained pasture, with good views to SW, W and S. The monument consists of a roughly circular area (18.5m E-W; 17.2m N-S) defined by a scarped edge (Wth 5.2m; H 0.9m) with an external fosse (Wth 4.9m) and a counter-scarp bank (int. H 0.3m; Wth 4.9m; ext. H 0.3m). A field boundary truncates the enclosing element from ESE to S.
