Situated in poorly drained, gently undulating pasture, with good views in all directions. The monument consists of a roughly circular area (31m NE-SW; 27m NW-SE) defined by a scarped edge (Wth 1.9m; H 0.2m), with an external fosse (Wth 1.15m; D 0.2m) S to NW. A short section of an external bank (Wth 4.8m; ext. H 0.2m) is evident at SW. There is a dip in the scarp at ENE (Wth 2m) and a causeway across the fosse at NW (Wth 6.4m), also a partial causeway across the fosse at SW (Wth 2.5m). The interior surface is uneven where shallow quarrying may have taken place.
