Situated in undulating pasture with good views to SE, S and W. Indicated on the 1923 OS 6-inch map as a sub-oval enclosure (c. 50m N-S; 40m E-W). The monument is heavily masked by dense scrub vegetation. It is defined by a scarped edge (Wth 1.3m; H 0.93m) with an external fosse (Wth 1.1m; D 0.3m) best preserved S to N. There are two gaps (Wth 1m) in the scarp, at SE and SW.
