Octagonal-shaped dovecote (int. diam. 5m) located 100m ENE of Drombanny Castle (LI013-056----) also known as Thomas Power's Court. Annotated ‘Pigeon Ho.’ on the 1840 OS 6-inch map. Described by Greensmyth (1994, 13) as following; ‘The Drombanna pigeon house is octagonal. The circumference on the outside is just under 25m. The length from of any of the walls on the inside to the opposite wall is under 5m. Seven of the walls have nest holes for eighty birds each, the eight wall, which includes the entrance facing west, has holes for forty birds’.
