Westropp (1904-5, 371) gives the following details on Knocknagall Church; Knocknagall (13). A parish in Pubblebrian. Knocknaghauill, dedicated to St. Brigid, 1410; Cnocknegall (O'Brien, Inquis.), 1584. "The church and trees of Knocknegawell," 1607 (Perambulation, p. 156). Cnocnangall, hill of the foreigners (O'Donovan). It was in repair 1657 (D.S. (A.) 11). Fabric - The church is in Lemonfield; about 10 feet [3m] of the south, and 30 feet [10m] of the north, wall remain. It had a nave and chancel, and seems of late masonry'.
