Situated on a natural ridge, on a S-facing slope immediately S of a track in gently rolling pasture, c. 30m NW of LI013-068003-; c. 40m NE 0f LI013-06801-. There are good views to W, S and E. Indicated on the 1924 OS 6-inch map as a sub-oval area (c. 40m NW-SE; 40m N-S) enclosed by two banks and an intervening fosse, truncated by the field boundary to the N. Survives as a sub-oval area (30.6m E-W) enclosed by a bank to E and S (int. H 0.3m; Wth. 2.4m; ext. H 0.6m) and a scarp edge to W (Wth. 10.6m; H 1m). There is a fosse (Wth. 5m) and gentle outer bank to E and S (int. H c. 0.1m; Wth. 1.6m; ext. H 0.2m). There is a further scarp edge to W (Wth. 4.4m; H 0.6m). There is a gentle dip in the internal bank to S (Wth. 6m). The interior slopes down to E.
