In pasture on slight NNE facing slope with good views in most directions. On the 'Old Deer Park' standing adjacent to a laneway on the demesne lands of Faha House located 580m to NE. Present remains consist of a slightly raised circular-shaped area (diam. 28m) enclosed by an earthen bank (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.7m; base Wth. 3.25m) from S through N to NNE and from NE to SE reduced to a scarp from NNE to NE and SSE to S with traces of an external fosse visible throughout. A quarry pit (diam. 8m, D 0.5m) has been dug into the external face of the bank at E. The level interior is densely overgrown.
