In pasture, on gentle N-facing slope, in area of outcropping limestone. Oval area (23.5m N-S; 20.6m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.25m; ext. H 0.6m) WSW->ENE, but bank replaced/overlain by dry-stone field wall ENE->WSW so that site occupies SE corner of large pasture field. Level interior is covered by mature coniferous trees which also cover much of enclosing element. Immediately to SE is ovoid area (26m N-S; 17.5m E-W) defined by a scarped edge (H 0.65m; Wth 5.25m), which is covered by nettles and thistles; this may be annex associated with enclosure but as likely a natural limestone feature.
