In pasture, on brow of low hill, in paddock immediately E of farm passage. Roughly circular area (28.5m N-S; 31.5m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank, with external fosse (D 0.4m; Wth 3m) SE->NW. Bank (int. H 1.6m; ext. H 2.4m) best preserved WSW->NE; from NE->SE it has been worn down to a scarped edge (H 0.8m; Wth 4m) by cattle accessing interior. Dip in bank at SW (Wth 3.5m); gap in bank (Wth 3.2m) at WNW. Faint counterscarp bank (int. H 1m; ext. H 0.5m) WSW->W. A field wall runs along outer edge of fosse SW->NW. Interior, covered by mature ash trees, slopes down gently to E. A small disused concrete-block farm shed (4m x 4m) stands in NW quadrant.
