In a heavily overgrown area immediately N of farmyard and farm buildings, 230m N of R506. Annotated 'Lissadoon' on 1840 OS 6-inch map where it is depicted as a circular-shaped area enclosed by a bank with a farmyard road 100m to E. On the 1897 OS 25-inch map it is located at the S end of a small irregular shaped field, the SE boundary of which reflects the curve of the ringfort. This map depicts a circular-shaped raised area (approx. int. diam. 27m; ext. diam. 34m) defined by a scarp with the interior and exterior planted with trees. Imagery from both Digital Globe 2011-2013 and Google Earth 2018 shows the tree covered monument standing immediately N of farm buildings surrounded by a farm track.
