What is recorded here

Moylish Castle [LI005-050001-] described by Westropp (1906-7, 82) as following; '1665 It is probably the peel-tower of "Mollish" at Ballineaghtenmore (Petty 63); probably Mealish, held by Sir James White (C.S., xviii., p. 79)'. Moylish [Mollish] Castle depicted as a tower house type structure surrounded by a cluster of dwellings on the Down Survey map of the North Liberties in Limerick (Hib. Reg.). On this map the castle is depicted in the townland of Moylish in roughly the same location as Moylish House. No castle is depicted in Ballineaghtenmore [Ballynanty More] on the Down Survey map of the North Liberties. Could be a duplicate castle with Moylish Castle (LI005-050001-).
