In pasture, in low-lying marshy area. Circular area (31m N-S; 30m E-W) defined by scarped edge, with two concentric outer earthen banks, with two intervening and an external fosse. Scarp (H 0.75m; Wth 3.9m) best preserved along S arc. Bank (int. H 0.9m; ext. H 1.1m), heavily masked by overgrowth at NE, is much denuded at NW. Break (Wth 4m) in outer bank (int. H 1.15m; ext. h 1.25m) at NW, matched by causeway across middle fosse and shallowing of inner fosse. Outer bank and fosse do not survive NW->NNE where field boundary cuts through middle fosse and skirts around inner bank. Inner fosse (Wth1.1m) best preserved at S. Middle (Wth 2.65m) and outer (Wth 2.2m) fosses waterlogged, with middle fosse widening at W (Wth 4m). Interior, under pasture, dips down towards centre.
