In rough pasture, on break in N-facing slope. Circular area (29.5m N-S; 29m E-W) defined by scarped edge (H 1.95m; Wth 2m) S->SE, and enclosed by eroded earthen bank (int. H 0.55m; ext. H 0.8m) SE->S. Scarp best preserved along N arc. Field boundary runs tangentially to base of scarp along E side. Concentric earth-and-stone bank (int. H 1.45m; ext. H 1.2m) runs for c. 4.5m at SSE, may be remains of counterscarp bank. Interior, covered by mature deciduous and coniferous trees, slopes down to NE.
