In pasture, atop hill. Circular area (40.7m N-S; 41m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.35m; ext. H 2.05m) with external fosse (D 0.15m; Wth 1.5m). Bank best preserved SW->NNW, becomes scarp-like NE->S. A dry-stone field wall cuts across fosse and runs along top of bank NNW->NE. Fosse best preserved along W arc, is much silted up elsewhere; low counterscarp earth-and-stone bank (ext. H 0.3m) SW->NNW. Causeway entrance (Wth 3.75m) at SSW. Interior, under pasture, slopes down to E; faint cultivation ridges evident on rough N-S axis. Compiled by: Denis Power Date of upload: 26 August 2011
