What is recorded here

Two pits cut into subsoil and an associated metalled surface were uncovered here during archaeological monitoring of drainage works (Excavation Licence No. 00E0629). No finds were recovered from these features but a barbed and tanged arrowhead and a sherd of blackware pottery were found on the surface beside the pits.
