What is recorded here

The fragmentary remains of two kilns of medieval date were uncovered here during pre-development excavation (Excavation Licence number 96E0161). One was fan-shaped with a cobbled surface around it, while the foundations of the second were square. (Murphy, Deirdre 1997, 75-6) Compiled by: Claire Breen Date of upload: 21 June 2013
