The following description is derived from both the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Louth' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1986) and the 'Archaeological Survey of County Louth' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1991). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.

One of four tomb or memorial slabs (see also LH024-041102-, LH024-041103-, LH024-041104-).
Located in the modern church and graveyard; all are seventeenth-century in date.
The Duff effigial slab, dated 1610, is of limestone and is broken into numerous pieces and mounted on the S wall of the modern church. The remains of a male and female figure in false relief are almost central on the slab. The figures are flanked by columns with heraldic device above. The inscription, in false relief, is placed around the border of the slab and basically states that here lies the body of Hen. Duff and his wife who died 24th of November.
