One of four holy water stoups (see also LH024-001002-, LH024-001004- and LH024-001006-) probably late medieval in date, located in the graveyard (LH024-001003-) close to the Catholic church. This one is composed of sandstone and has a rounded base, square top (0.42m) and circular basin (diam. 0.32m, D 0.17m). It is said to have come from Mellifont Abbey (LH023-007002-).
