Marked on the 1911 'OS 6-inch' map as 'Mortuary chapel'. Situated in a small enclosure, which is higher than the field in which it stands. The foundations of a small rectangular building (5.5m x 4m) with corner buttresses and a buttress on the outside of the N and S wall were visible in 1966 when inspected by ASI. Davies (1944, 284) suggests that the building was never completed. A cross-inscribed slab (LH018-041001-) found here is now in St. Peters Church in Drogheda (Davies 1944, 284).
