Situated in or near the church at Smarmore (LH017-084001-) are three cross-slabs (see also LH017-084004- and LH017-084006-). This example is a small broken slab, almost square in plan, placed loosely on the church wall. It has an incised equal-armed cross contained within a double circle and having a short, widely splayed stem.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
