Situated at W end of a high E-W ridge. Circular, level area (diam. 14m) enclosed by a fosse (Wth 3.7m, D 0.3m) and external bank (Wth 6.4m, H 0.3m). The monument, though much degraded, is clearly a ring-barrow.
The above description is derived from both the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Louth' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1986) and the 'Archaeological Survey of County Louth' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1991).
