A hard greenish-grey sandstone font with a flat circular base and an almost square bowl (Wth 0.45m, D 0.20m), rounded on the outside. It splays at each angle. The flat bottom of the inside of the bowl has a central hole (D 0.10m) and there is a slightly wider one in the centre of the underside of the base. They two holes are divided by 0.05m of un-perforated stone so it is difficult to see how it functioned effectively as a font. A broad flat moulding extends down each of the four arrises and a further moulding forms a wide plain 'shield' shape, in low relief, on each of the four sides. Situated inside the church (LH017-015001-) close to the W wall.
