What is recorded here

The present castle Bellingham was built c. 1690/1700 after the original castle (LH015-009----) was burnt down in the mid-17th century. Alterations were carried out in the late 18th century and again in the early 19th century. It has a nine bay entrance front with one bay projecting out, is three storeys high with battlemented parapet and some turrets.
