Marked on the 1835 and 1911 'OS 6-inch' maps as 'Rath' and depicted as an arc feature (max L. 70m) cut by field fences to the E and N on the 1835 'OS map'. When inspected by Peter Danaher (ASI) in 1966 he noted 'a long, narrow gravel ridge part of which is marked as rath on O.S.. No rath feature visible.' (SMR file).
