Site of castle now occupied by farm buildings which may incorporate fabric from the monument (Jordan 1934, 210-12). No visible trace. The following description is derived from both the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Louth' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1986) and the 'Archaeological Survey of County Louth' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1991).
