In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.

Represented as 'fort' on 1835 ed. of OS 6-inch map. Now only surviving as short section of earthen bank (Wth 10.6m, H 1.8m internally, 3.4m externally), situated on a slight natural rise.
