The following description is derived from both the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Louth' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1986) and the 'Archaeological Survey of County Louth' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1991). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 July 2007 Cropmarks indicating sub-circular enclosure (max. dims. c. 47m N-S, c. 45m E-W) on aerial photograph (CUCAP, BDP 43). The enclosure is surrounded by two roughly concentric ditches and situated within the SE corner of an oval enclosure (max. dims. c. 138m E-W, c. 82m N-S).
