The following description is derived from both the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Louth' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1986) and the 'Archaeological Survey of County Louth' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1991). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.

Situated on summit of E-W ridge. Discovered during ploughing in 1987 and reclosed. Two lintels of drystone-built passage, completely blocked by collapse, were seen in sides of modern entrance gap. Traces of a fosse, visible as a cropmark at ground level, are recorded (see enclosure LH007-108001-). This souterrain and souterrain LH007-108003-, 18m to the SE, were probably originally within this enclosure. Tradition of souterrain in adjacent field. (See LH007-109----).
