The following description is derived from both the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Louth' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1986) and the 'Archaeological Survey of County Louth' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1991). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 July 2007 Circular area (int. diam. 29.5m) enclosed by two banks with traces of stonefacing and intervening U-shaped fosse. Inner bank (Wth 5m, H 0.3-1m internally, 2.2m externally) enclosed by a U-shaped fosse (Wth 5m, D c. 0.5m) and an outer bank (Wth 5m, H 0.7m internally, 1.4m externally). Entrance gap (Wth 2.1m) lined with large boulders at NW of inner bank. Three conjoined huts (LH004-084002-, LH004-084004-, LH004-084005-) in centre. (See also LH004-084003-)
