The following description is derived from both the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Louth' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1986) and the 'Archaeological Survey of County Louth' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1991). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.

Circular area (int. diam. 29.5m) enclosed by two banks with traces of stonefacing and intervening U-shaped fosse. Inner bank (Wth 5m, H 0.3-1m internally, 2.2m externally) enclosed by a U-shaped fosse (Wth 5m, D c. 0.5m) and an outer bank (Wth 5m, H 0.7m internally, 1.4m externally). Entrance gap (Wth 2.1m) lined with large boulders at NW of inner bank. Three conjoined huts (LH004-084002-, LH004-084004-, LH004-084005-) in centre. (See also LH004-084003-)
