One of six short cists (see also LH004-032002-, LH004-032004-, LH004-032006, LH004-032007- and LH004-032008-) aligned NW-SE, found during excavations by E. E. Evans in Cairn A at Aghnaskeagh (LH004-032001-). These secondary burials, dating to the Bronze Age, were W and SW of the megalith.
This cist was larger than those located at LH004-032002- and LH004-032004-. It was pentagonal in plan, and constructed of large side slabs which sloped inwards at the base. The upper layers were disturbed at a later date when the cist was used as a ready-made hearth for smelting (LH004-032003-).
