At the base of a gentle S-facing slope in low-lying pasture. A report in 1976 (SMR file) recorded a raised subcircular area (c. 45m N-S; c. 40m E-W) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone with fragmentary traces of a shallow external fosse. The original entrance was at E. It has since been levelled and is not visible at ground level.
